Lady Gaga wraps up filming Joker 2: Here’s what she’ll look like as Harley Quinn

New pictures of Lady Gaga in Harley Quinn skin have been released in the last days of filming for the upcoming movie ‘Joker 2’, which promises to be darker and more sinister.

TMZ commented that Lady Gaga’s hair and makeup in the shared image appear to match a scene she filmed earlier this week, in which She was seen singing and dancing on the same outdoor steps in the Bronx where she danced Joaquin Phoenix in the first “Joker” movie.

Singer’s versions of the character appear darker than Margot Robbie’s portrayal of Harley Quinn, which has been well-received in various movies.

Previous set photos have revealed Harley (Gaga) looking scared on the street, and audio of her singing “Couple of Swells” has also been released. Then there’s Arkham-looking imagery in the flames and a prop that says “Dent,” possibly revealing the involvement of Harvey Dent aka. Two Faces (Two Faces), in Fig. Two official first looks from the film have been released so far: one featuring Gaga and Phoenix, and another showing Arthur shaving.

Other images and videos Paparazzo, shared on Twitter, showed Lady Gaga wearing an oversized black coat and gloves as she descended the stairs connecting Shakespeare and Anderson avenues on West 167th Street in the Bronx. In another photo, she appeared to discuss the scene at length with her director Todd Phillips.

Officially titled Joker: Folly a Deux, Catherine Keener and Brendan Gleeson will feature in yet-to-be-revealed roles, while Josie Beetz will reprise her role as Arthur’s neighbor Sophie. The film will not release till October 4, 2024. The film will be unrelated to the new DC Extended Universe, which will begin with Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.
