Klopp was satisfied
This Monday, in a press conference, coach Klopp was asked about his performance since the return of Luis Diaz after overcoming a minor knee injury.
“Already in the game it was a good clock when it came in. We’ve now given ourselves enough time to fix everything.“Said the coach, who will no doubt be holding his breath once the Colombian returns, although he still believes he will reach his maximum level.
The coach examined his recovery process after one injury in October and another in December.
“He’s been in training for a while, he started well in training and then, after a long period of injuries, you could see the power level drop a bit. And then they’re out of focus here and there, and that’s where we let it be, let it go through thisKlopp said.
Finally, he assured about the Colombian: “Now that we have selected him for the first time in the first line, he is excellent. It was clear that he couldn’t play 90 minutes, but for a long time and when he was on the field he was very strong… So, very good news for us.”
Liverpool face Fulham this Wednesday and the Colombian will have a fresh chance to start.
