María Corina Machado sends a strong message to Venezuela's public servants

Opposition leader María Corina Machado sent a strong message to Venezuela's public servants on Wednesday.

Through a video shared on Vende Venezuela's official YouTube account, Machado highlighted the effort and commitment of workers, reiterating his commitment to respecting the will expressed by each citizen.

“I know what each of our employees is going through these days. It hurts and angers me as much as you do, because an employee working in a government agency or company must be at the service of the nation, the Venezuelan state system does not belong to a small group, but to all Venezuelans. He insisted.

The opposition leader pointed out that Venezuelan workers must be recognized for their work, talent and efficiency and never bow down to the regime.

“When we demonstrated our victory, the regime was unleashed and that is why the youths, journalists, teachers and soldiers who took to the streets demanding change were attacked,” he said.

That's why I want to give you three messages: First, the regime is doing wrong again, they don't know you, they believe that by doing all this they are going to suffocate this cry for freedom and justice. No, that won't happen. So rest assured that we are going to implement the will and the truth,” he added.

Machado asked public servants to take care of each other amid the crisis the country finds itself in. In addition, he emphasized the importance of respecting the will of the Venezuelan people.

“Second, you must help each other. The regime is trying to sow distrust and fear among you, but you are wise and know how to recognize those who demand better change. “You must take care of yourselves, keep yourself well informed about what is happening, and this strength among all your people, I also want to help us spread the message about the company and its strength,” he said.

“Third, prepare yourself because change is inevitable. Sooner than some believe, all of you will be able to express yourselves freely, hold your heads high with pride as Venezuelans. We need you to take this country forward, and we are going to count on Venezuela. A bright and good Venezuela. It is coming and it will embrace us in one family, this is what is coming and we will do it,” he concluded.
