The Mexican government reiterated that “nominations are free, private and irrevocable,” and added that “any suspected abuse of the system will result in the cancellation of any nomination and the banning of the relevant user.”

The process of requesting appointments at the Mexican Embassy in the island is a widely discussed topic due to the difficulty of the process, which is mainly mediated by the corruption created on the platform, as many users have denounced on various occasions.
