(CNN Español) – El Salvador’s President Naib Bukele announced on Saturday his government’s plan to begin construction of the city of Pitcairn in the east of the country by 2022.

During his closing remarks on Bitcoin’s’ Feel the Bit 2021 ”, Buckell explained that the city will have residential and commercial areas, as well as services, entertainment areas, restaurants, airport, port and train.

The city will rise near the Konsagua volcano and use its energy to heal the city and mine to Bitcoin.

According to the president, the land will be abandoned by the government, which will provide public infrastructure and attract investors, on the basis of which he promised equal access.
