MEXICO CITY.- After this Tuesday’s MTV Video Music Awards show, which went viral at the start of the ceremony, Olivia Rodrigo announced the dates of her next world tour early in the morning.
Through her social networks, the 20-year-old singer shared the official dates of the tour, which will focus on her new album, Cuts. His long journey will begin in February next year in California.
Later, the tour will stretch through North America and from there it will flow to Europe, such as Barcelona, Lisbon, Munich, Hamburg and London. It will conclude on August 14 in Los Angeles.
However, the announcement did not include any dates in Mexico or other parts of Latin America, upsetting many of his fans who had hoped that the second leg of the tour would be included.
Rodrigo’s official page announced that pre-sale of tickets through the Ticketmaster system will begin on September 20. Pre-registration is invited by September 17 to get the special code.
Olivia will have many opening acts at her concerts, including the British Pink Panthers, Chapelle Roan, Remy Wolf and the rock group The Breeders.
Rodrigo shocked the audience at the MTV VMAs 2023 this Tuesday with his renditions of “Vampire” and “Get Him Back!” He was one of the artists who opened the gala with the songs.
