Luis Nava added that this space, built in the mid-80’s, had never been intervened before, so he invited the population to take care of this new infrastructure so that it would last many more years and continue to enjoy this great public space that was already remodeled.

The Secretary of Municipal Public Services, Alejandra Haro de la Torre reported that with the support of the Department of Creation of New Infrastructure, 3 thousand 24 square meters were intervened and the actions that were carried out were the rehabilitation and expansion of the skating rink together with the retaining wall; in addition, walkways and green areas with: 21 trees of the species Fraile, Magnolia, Pata de vaca and Grevillea; as well as more than 8 thousand 80 plants such as amaranth, duranta, fornio, lavender, rosemary, among others. A games area with a cushioning floor was also installed, the placement of new benches, the installation of an irrigation system and a recreation plaza, and the provision of public lighting for the safety of all visitors to this emblematic Skating Rink.
