Pedro considers that Quito is a “non-existent” president

The President of Colombia, Gustavo Pedro, supported President Nicolás Maduro’s re-establishment of relations with the Venezuelan government this Monday, as the opposition leader, recognized as president by the United States, He is an “absent” president.

“It’s in Plato’s allegory of the cave. Look how these shadows move. But they are unreal, non-existent“, Pedro pointed out in an interview with the Colombian newspaper ‘Semana’.

When asked by an interviewer if he would be president without Guaidó, Pedro responded emphatically. “Yes definitely. Venezuela has no control over it“, he squealed.

Guaidó complained on Friday Pedro withdrew his recognition as president of Venezuela in favor of Maduro, who supposedly “defends global terrorism.” “I would have hoped that his first decision would not have been to reach out to the person who defends global terrorism today in Venezuela,” Guaidó told a press conference.

President Pedro wants to deal with such a dictator “related to international terrorism because of ideological or economic ties,” the Venezuelan opposition leader said.
