Airbus continues to pay tribute to its outgoing A380 line in an unusual way. Thus, the photo of the route of the last test flight of the largest aircraft in the world ended with a farewell heart.

It’s the plane with MSN 272. The test flight, which took place on December 12 and lasted more than four hours, began from the Airbus facility in Hamburg (Germany) with maneuvers that ended with a “painting” artwork over the northeastern part of the country. The flight was recorded at the gate Flytradar 24.

At the end of this year, the aircraft will join the fleet of its main user, Emirates Airlines, in the United Arab Emirates, becoming the company’s 123rd unit. The airline has already ground two A380s, one of which has been grounded in Dubai.

European aircraft manufacturer Ads A380 production ended in February 2019 due to a lack of new orders, as well as lower orders by Emirates Airlines.

  • Airbus A380 is a giant aircraft that made its first test flight in April 2005. It has a maximum capacity of 853 passengers.
