Platz, a new cultural space in Cordoba, will open this Tuesday

On Tuesday 24 October, at 9pm, the Platz Square will open, a cultural space that seeks to position itself as a reference for artistic and social construction, engagement and dissemination in the city.

After a great deal of adaptation and reconstruction work, the room in which the ACIC Culture House historically operated has been reopened.

This first step is the beginning of a new phase in the PLATZ cultural space, where active participation, dialogue, debate and artistic production will be promoted.

“We want to be a meeting place for all people seeking to express themselves in a creative and collaborative way,” the organization says in a press release.

In their statement, they say: “Developed by the Israeli Cultural Association of Cordoba, we are reclaiming a space where art can function freely. Where the way of self-expression takes the form it wants, so that each person can present his ideas in his own way.

They conclude: “You will find a place with a history, so you can tell it. With a location that is reborn and transformed into opportunities for everyone. Find a space that encourages you to build culture.”

PLATZ is a meeting place for artists, creatives and culture lovers. Located in the city centre, on one of the city’s main streets and just blocks from Plaza San Martín, the cultural center has a 269-seat room, the production and programming of which will be in charge of the Cordoba production company No Me Shout. Productions.

This renovated 4-storey cultural center contains different rooms that will be used for multiple functions and expressions, which will be announced and built collectively. At the second level, we form a “co-cultural action” where some activities are already implemented and spaces such as “Montón Diseño” and “La Tinta” are their own workplaces. Finally, on the balcony we will have some future proposals that will surprise you!
