The President of the Republic, Luis Abinador, issued Decrees 371-22 and 372-22, which created a Technical Commission to reorganize the education system of the National Police, in addition to a board of directors that would carry out a change. Police Education Institute and A Institute of Police Education (IPE) Education Committee.
The commission to carry out the restructuring of the education system was created by Roberto Santana, who will coordinate the committee; Miguel Escala, Mu-Kien Adriana Chang, Eladio Uribe, Rathames Garcia Gonzalez, Osvaldo Santana and Gregorio Montero.
The mission of this commission is to “promote proper functioning Transformation of the National Police on Education Matters, as well as ensuring compliance with the work plan sent and approved by the Executive Authority to carry out the Education Reform in IPE.
The Board of Directors to manage the transition of the Institute of Police Education (IPE) will assume the functions until the new structure and organization of the Institute is defined. This panel includes Mu-kien Adriana Sang, Elena Villeya, Melba Barnet, Carlos Manuel Estrella, Osvaldo Santana, Radhamés García González, as well as a representative of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the PoliceHigher Institute for IPE and Safety (Insude).
The function of this committee is to ensure the formulation of educational strategies within the regulatory body.
