Randy Arosarena rewrote history by sounding the bug

By Guillermo Sanchez

Randy Arrozarena is one (if not the first) Cuban with the best early season performance in all of Major League Baseball 2023.Advertisements

The Mexican national and outfielder for the Tampa Bay Rays hasn’t stopped being in touch since the start of this season.

Slugger’s work with the South Florida team has been very positive, and he and the team are on a record pace.

With all the joy in the world, I declare that it was so.

Randy Arosarena had a personal best

In the bottom of the fifth inning of the matchup between the Oakland Athletics and the Tampa Bay Rays, Cuban Randy Arrozarena would have a historic moment.

With the bases loaded, one out at the plate, after the first pitch, a 93.6 mph splitter from opposing pitcher Shintaro Fujinami, the outfielder would hit a solid liner that drove in two runs.

The ball will be fired across the center of the diamond, allowing Randy Arrozarena to hit at least one consecutive game this season, tying his personal best.

Until then, the Cuban-Mexican was 3-1 with two RBIs.

I’ll leave you with the video…
