The Minister of Science, Daniel Filmus, stressed that Antarctica “has to do with the fate of humanity and the resources for the future. We need a much larger existence.”

Some of the institutions that will implement this project are: Austral Center for Scientific Research (CADIC-CONICET); Argentine Antarctic Institute (IAA-MRECIC); and UNTDF; National Technological University – Regional College of Tierra del Fuego (UTN-FRTDF) and Institute for Research and Development of Fisheries (INIDEP)
