Spokesmen for the Dominican Liberation Front (PLD) Assembly constituencies will be one of the topics discussed at the organisation’s political committee meeting, which began just after 10:30 a.m. Monday.

“You know August 16 is the date for the election of new directors at the congressional level, and then the PLD will elect a spokesman for the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, something they will touch on today,” commented Hector Olivo, the former ruling party’s communications director.
