The Braves come back and beat the Giants with Rosario’s homer

ATLANTA — Eddie Rosario had four hits, including a two-run homer in the eighth inning, to lead the Atlanta Braves as they beat the San Francisco Giants 6-5 on Saturday for their fifth straight win.

Marcell Ozuna hit a two-run homer off Tyler Rogers (4-5) in the eighth. Rosario followed with his 19th home run of the season, sending the first pitch home 441 feet to center field.

“Eddie!” before Rosario came out of the cave. The fans chanted.

Rosario drove in three runs, including a double in the second. He singled off Travis d’Arnaud’s double in the fourth innings.

Lamonte Wade Jr. had two hits, including a first-pitch homer of the game, but the Giants suffered their third straight loss.

Ronald Acuna Jr. hit his 28th home run of the season to tie the game 4-4. The win went to Kirby Yates (7-0) and Cuban Rhysal Iglesias.

In the Giants, Venezuela’s Wilmar Flores 4-1 and Tyro Estrada 4-1 against RBI. Panamanian Johan Camargo is 3-0 with RBI.

For the Braves, Venezuela’s Acuna scored a run in a 4-1 game and Orlando Arcia chipped in with an RBI in a 3-0 game. Dominican Ozuna scored a run to make it 4-3. Puerto Rican Rosario went 4-4 with two runs scored and three runs scored.
