O Ganapán returns this weekend with an offer in which the little ones will be invited to explore the seabed and prepare mouth-watering recipes like vegan burgers and blueberry muffins. The children’s entertainment program promoted in the Mercado de Abastos by the Concellería de Promoción Económica opened today a new round of registrations for the workshops of its Gastro and Crea spaces, that will take place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 May in the morning, in sessions at 11:00 and 12:30, and which are intended for children from 4 to 10 years old.
As the head of the municipal department recalls, the socialist Yoya Blanco, “the deadline for submitting applications will close at 4:00 p.m. on the day before each workshop is held“.” Registrations can be made through the email address [email protected] and Boys and girls who have not previously participated in O Ganapán workshops will have preference when reserving a place”, Clarifies the councilor of the PSOE.
On Saturday, a cooking workshop is planned “around a unique recipe for vegan burgers made with legumes and spices, which will undoubtedly succeed”, and another entitled “sailors on the high seas”, in which they will be made “very funny marine animals using recycling, colors and imagination”.
The little ones who participate in the Sunday workshops they will have the opportunity to cook a snack as tasty as some blueberry muffins and to shed a little light in the darkness of the ocean to observe the fish and algae that usually inhabit the bottom of the sea.
As in previous workshops of the Gastro space, Yoya Blanco reminds children not to forget to bring a container “to be able to bring the recipes they make in O Ganapán to their parents.”
