The forgotten 2011 sci-fi series deserves a reboot.

Although this sci-fi series wasn't a hit at the time, the premise was good and deserved a new chance with a reboot.

Does anyone remember? Terra NovaThis sci-fi series showed us how humanity made people unable to live on Earth due to pollution (again) and instead of looking for another planet, they decided to go to the past, to the age of dinosaurs and start civilization from that moment on.

With a great cast led by Jason O’Mara, Shelley Conn, Kristen Adams, Allison Miller, Landon Liboiron, Naomi Scott, Alana Mansour, Stephen Lang, and Simone Kessel, the highlight of this sci-fi series is undoubtedly its high-quality effects. However, the plot may have been a bit delayed despite its great premise. Would you like to see a Terra Nova reboot? Leave me your comments below in the opinion section.

Terra Nova

Terra Nova is a science fiction series that premiered in 2011. It is set in a dystopian future, specifically in the year 2149, where Earth is on the verge of ecological collapse due to overpopulation and severe pollution. In this nearly uninhabitable world, humanity has discovered a way to travel through time, creating the opportunity to start over in a bygone era.

The government selects groups of people to travel back 85 million years, to the age of the dinosaurs, and establish a new colony called Terra Nova. The goal is to create a prosperous and sustainable society, and avoid the mistakes that destroyed the Earth.

The story follows the Shannon family: Jim, a former police officer, his wife Elizabeth, a doctor, and their three children, Josh, Maddie, and Zoe. They join a group of settlers and face the challenges of living in a primitive world filled with dinosaurs and unknown dangers. In addition, they face internal conflicts, as there are factions within the colony with hidden agendas and threats that could jeopardize the success of the mission.

One of the main antagonists is a faction called the “Hexagon”, who have broken away from the main colony and have their own plans for the New World. As the series progresses, secrets are revealed about the true purpose of Terra Nova and the intentions of the future government.

The series combines elements of adventure, family drama, and science fiction, with themes of survival, environmental responsibility, and the possibility of humanity's salvation.
