The national government promotes community-based science and technology projects

With the aim of strengthening societal productive forces, the Bolivarian government is moving forward in supporting community-based science and technology projects.

This was announced by Sectoral Vice President of Science, Technology and Health Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez via her Telegram channel after holding a working meeting with Municipal Secretary Angel Prado and the Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Popular Power of Science and Technology (MINSET).

“We continue to promote community-based science and technology projects to strengthen societal productive forces under the guidance of President Nicolas Maduro,” said Sector Vice President Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez.

He added that the meeting promotes “the establishment of scientific committees in every community department, as well as linking information centers with collective technical projects.”

In this sense, he said, “Today, more than 600,000 people have participated in information centers from every community, in information and communications technology (ICT) training programs.”

Likewise, Sector Vice President Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez noted that “there are only a few days left to conclude the National Call for Productive Technological Innovation Projects 2024” where renowned innovators will be able to submit proposals to advance towards a prosperous future for the country.

Through these actions, the Bolivarian Government, through the great mission of science, technology and innovation of Dr. Humberto Fernandez Moran and the creative forces of the people, continues to promote national development.
