Santo Domingo.- The Presidential Directorate of the Reformist Renewal Party (PRR) decided to run as an ally in the 2024 elections, while the Central Electoral Commission (JCE) complained that it did not examine its documents before rejecting its recognition.

The president of the PRR, Héctor Rodríguez Pimentel, said that they are organized in every municipality in the country and are patiently waiting for another opportunity to reiterate their demand for recognition before the JCE.

“Our party will continue to have a public presence and will always take into account the interest of the country and the members of the PRR, going into the next electoral contest joined with other political forces at different stages of the elections,” said Rodriguez Pimentel.

Osiris de Leon, General Secretary; Ara Peralta and Rosita Minino, Vice Presidents; Freddie Rowa, Secretary of Elections; Eduardo de León, Jaime Ildefonso Rodríguez, Rafael Cosme, Luis José Rossó, Héctor A. Rodríguez, Miguel Burgos, Rafael Infante, Fior Ares, Vinicio Encarnación, President of Dulce Garciailla and other leaders of Josété are members.

Decisions were taken unanimously, including the decision to set up a high-level committee to explore the possibility of an electoral alliance for national and local candidates. The commission was chaired by Hector Rodríguez Pimentel and composed of Osiris de Leon, Ara Peralta and Rosita Minino.
