Observe the universe and the space has always generated shock and interest, despite the fact that very few people have had the opportunity to do it in first person. One of them is the current Minister of Science, Pedro Duque, who has wanted to share today through social networks his experience in outer space.
Via Twitter, the astronaut wanted to show some of the panoramic that were made from space, specifically from the Iberian Peninsula. Duque wanted to choose these images because it was the first time he saw Spain from Earth orbit.
Duque’s first experience in space
The minister has written in social networks that this vision of his country made him feel “a great emotion. To think that there were so many people and so many dear places … ”. On the other hand, the minister assured how complicated it was to take a photo in space.
“70mm reel, what a mess it was change the reel up there without having room
dark. The numbers on the right are printed on the real negative, that’s how it was in the last century. Three photos because the exposure was manual, and they taught us to make three different diaphragms in a row ”, Duque has detailed along with the photos posted.
