The Ministry of Education, Science and Universities and the FP awarded the Valga Institute a grant of €55,000 to create a space for technology applied to welding with the aim of improving the qualifications of students, allowing them to simulate the real work of welding centers and working environments.
Specifically, the Valgo Institute will provide a multifunctional space for robotics applied to welding, testing, automation and 3D printing, as confirmed by its director Eliseo Mera. This area will be equipped with high-performance equipment and new technologies, in addition to tools and elements that simulate working environments. This will allow students to use methodologies specific to the productive sector to which they are directed, and will lead to a significant improvement in their training, according to municipal sources.
