Santo Domingo.-After more than 5 hours of investigation, the Attorney General's Office arrested on Wednesday night the businessman Jose Angel Gomez Caan (Jochi), the administrator of Transcord Ladam, the company that won the contract for the traffic light system of the National District.
Jochi, the son of journalist Guillermo Gomez, arrived at the PGR around 3:00 p.m., where he was interrogated in the office of Yeni Berenice Reynoso, director of prosecutions at the Public Ministry.
The young businessman was involved in other cases of alleged hacking of electronic accounts.

“We're going to face justice, we're going to face whoever we have to face to protect our dignity,” Jochy Gomez said.
He mentioned that for the last 12 years there have been attempts to project him as a villain and his silence has allowed his name to be used lightly.
Jochi's visit to the PGR comes after the Ministry of Defense (MIDE) said that a “cooperation agreement” with AURIX, a private company owned by the businessman, was signed on June 23, 2020, but the government administration began 54 days later. It was never implemented.
Gomez visited the PGR with his lawyer, former magistrate Hiroido Reyes, who left the office around 8:00 p.m.
