They reactivate a space for dialogue with the Cooperating Board to strengthen educational processes

Asunción, Paraguay, IP Agency.- In an effort to strengthen education processes, the dialogue space of the Educational Sector Cooperative Board was reactivated, a body made up of the Ministry of Education and Sciences and the Cooperation Agencies or bodies that support the sector at the national level.

During the meeting chaired by the Minister of Education and Sciences, Juan Manuel Brunetti, and in which the vice ministers and the technical team of the educational portfolio also participated, the contribution of international cooperation with Paraguayan education was highlighted.

Through the reactivation of this space, the MEC seeks to generate spaces for dialogue and joint analysis of the axes prioritized by the educational portfolio in order to identify possible alliances within the framework of the implementation of the Educational Action Plan 2018 – 2023.

Minister Brunetti, after thanking the support, reaffirmed that “international cooperation for the development of quality Education is of transcendental importance” in Paraguay.

“We need the articulation with you, to be able to continue achieving or reaching those objectives that we have,” he ratified.

He mentioned that the National Government has a very great challenge, which began with the administration of President Mario Abdo Benítez, to achieve the educational transformation process.

“We are going to continue, we want to finish this process, have a clear roadmap that can provide us with the inputs to tell you exactly what we need from international cooperation,” he added.

He also anticipated that continuity will be given to the axes that have been working and to adjust others as they are identified within this process of dialogue that he will carry out.

“These meetings are opportune so that we can share what our guidelines are, from the MEC we believe that we have to permanently share the information”, so that international cooperation can continue collaborating with Paraguay, not only with the projects that there are, but the projects that will be implemented from now on, “he said.

Likewise, the vice ministers indicated the medium and long-term plans from the educational portfolio, the strategic lines, among them they mentioned the processes of improvement of learning, evaluation, the information system, the teaching career, the accreditation of the Institutes Teacher Training, the Educational Transformation project, among other points addressed.

On the other hand, the representatives of the international organizations highlighted the openness of participation by the educational authorities, which will favor the coordination of future actions.

The different Cooperation Agencies shared information on the actions implemented and highlighted the joint work, in order to continue building and benefiting the educational system of Paraguay.
