After the video went viral last Friday, April 26, Rodolfo Castaneda revealed on his X account that members of Sebin beat up his cousin. In addition, he indicated that they wanted to charge his cousin with “crimes of robbery and theft” while he was out of the country for four years.

“Maria Corina, my cousin from Duran (St. Rosalia) who spoke to you yesterday at the rally in Duran, was driven out of her house by the Sepine,” he wrote.

“My dear friends, I received information from my uncle-father that they want to commit crimes of robbery and theft against him when he has not even lived in Venezuela for the past four years,” he added.

For its part, Vente Venezuela demanded the immediate release of Oscar Castañeda, who is part of a political party in the Portuguese state of Santa Rosalia. The young man arrived in the national territory 20 days ago and decided to join the organization and spoke during the event of María Corina Machado.
