The screen opened and there was Susan Soldero's weather forecast. Hurricane Maribili, a category 10, was unlikely, but he came down the stairs and powerfully expressed his routine: lost vote!
On this occasion, Maribili Rivera received applause and choruses from the audience who could see and hear her, in contrast to her days in voluntary prison at La Casa de Los Famosos (LCDLF), alienated from the voting public for four months. And made her a complete winner. To recount her experiences on the 'reality show', she opened the doors to her home on stage at the Sanders Center for the Fine Arts (CBA), used everything from the sofa.
It was screened at the La Casa de Maripily theater with moviegoers in attendance, as happy as those who stood in front of the television in support of the Puerto Rican. From making fun of Lubillo Rivera, the show's famous catchphrases, some tierra ra ra ra, and unexpected events, the script was put together for an hour and a half of Maribili being in control.
Throughout the plot, the businesswoman receives visitors to her home after the finale of the Telemundo 'show', while she answers questions from two friends as her conscience (good and dangerous). Macho and Rita, played by actors JC Martínez and Norwill Fragoso, respectively, gave voice to the LCDLF viewer's perspective and made the audience laugh with their colorful and witty comments.
General coordination
La Casa de Maripily: Se Vale Tó manages to maintain a balance between the memorable moments of the design and the novel and fantasy that allows for a fresh and entertaining script. Directing responsibility.
Among the hits, the unreleased reggaeton Magumba featured Maribili's voice and used a term used against him by former residents of Studio House.
“La Macumba, la que nobody tumba”, the theme was established with the possibility of reaching digital music platforms.
At the same time, the public was integrated into a dynamic that stood out in the competition, such as La más hypocrita, El más cab#@n, El más pedej@, where they could vote with their cell phones. A couple of audience members took to the stage to experience one of the most compelling phases of 'reality' and there was no shortage of mention of positioning.
Clovis, Adam and Rome
The stage includes special appearances by Clovis Nienov, Alfredo Adam and Rodrigo Romey, making their Puerto Rican stage debuts. Three Mexicans return to the island for the same surprising reason, which causes one of the three to receive Maribili's kiss.
Adam's acting career was clear because he was not afraid of improvisation. His lines aren't too far from what he showed during his stay at home, referencing his feud with Christina Porta and his sudden relationship with Puerto Rico. Spontaneity and creative expression prevailed in Clovis, albeit with limited production. Rome was defeated by inexperience of the stage, which in the end was won by verisimilitude.
“Introducing” Patricia and Aleska
Other surprises arose offstage, where Aleska Genesis saw direct references to her participation and relationship with Maribili. Upon arrival at the stadium, the Venezuelan was greeted with a friendly ovation by the Puerto Ricans, who celebrated his exit from the game a day before the final night.
The owner of Bambi's store said of Aleska: “Bar Beach, it's famous because here I am Beach.
Patricia Corsino was also part of the conversation and received many boos from her companions.
An occasional laugh saved a forgotten line of a show, which was the scenery, the transitions from scene to scene and the audiovisual elements.
La Casa de Maripily: Se Vale Tó appeared as a 'reality show': turbulent, controversial and appealing to the masses.
The production by Soraya Sánchez and Carlos Bermúdez will be at CBA Santurce until July 21. It will be presented on August 17th in Orlando and August 31st in New York.
