Tagaytay, Philippines. Two Australian citizens and a Filipina woman were murdered in a hotel in a popular tourist town south of the Philippine capital. And police are trying to identify and track down the suspects, officials said Thursday.

A hotel worker found the bodies of the victims with their hands and feet bound in a room at the Lake Hotel in Tagaytay City, south of Manila, on Wednesday, according to a police report.

Police did not identify the victims or provide further details about what they described as a “homicidal incident.”

“We are shocked by this incident,” said Tagaytay Mayor Abraham Tolentino, who apologized to the victims' families. “We'll resolve this soon.”

The victims are believed to be an Australian man in his fifties, his partner, who is of Filipino descent, and his relative.
