At least three people have died as a result of fresh attacks by the Russian military in several Ukrainian cities, including Kiev, where fifteen people have been injured.
Kherson Governor Oleksandr Prokhudin announced that one person had died when a building in Veledensk was hit by Russian missiles. “Russian troops continue to kill residents of the region,” he condemned.
In Mikolaiv, a strong explosion was recorded throughout the day, which according to the Ukrainian authorities may have been the result of the impact of a ballistic missile. On the other hand, another series of attacks left one dead and half a dozen injured.
Meanwhile, Governor Vadim Pilashkin confirmed that another person died in the city of Novokhrodivka, located in Donetsk Oblast, after a Russian army attack on Thursday afternoon.
In the past few hours, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has again called for greater “political will” in supplying weapons to his Western partners, after Kiev was targeted by Russian forces overnight. Fifteen people were injured.
