The Valle del Cauca team has received new capital, which comes from Venezuelan investment group Caldac, which started as the club's sponsor and is now the largest shareholder.

In a statement released by Tulio Gomes, the team's biggest investor to date, Scarlett said: “We are incredibly proud to welcome Grupo Caldac as America de Cali's new partner. “Their commitment to sustainability aligns perfectly with our values,” the club says.

Command change

Once the capitalization is completed, Marcela Gomez, daughter of Tulio Gomez, will step down as chairman of the Galle team in favor of Italian-Venezuelan Carlos Rezin, who will serve as managing director of Caltech Group.
