Users who want to personalize a particular chat as much as possible can change the tone of notifications and add that contact to favorites.

To customize the tone, vibration and sometimes the light emitted by the cell phone when a contact sends a new message, the steps to follow are:

1. Open a chat with a specific person and select their name.
2. Select 'Notifications'.
3. Choose the notification tone, vibration level and light color (if the phone has that function).

Changes are saved automatically.

In the selected contact's profile, you need to scroll to the end and press 'Add to Favorites'. This feature simplifies the process of making calls or video calls as the selected contacts appear first in the list when you open the 'Calls' tab.

When a WhatsApp feature is under development, it means that the app team is actively working on its design and development. This feature is not yet available to the public as it is still in planning, programming and testing stages.
