App updates bring new features that attract the interest of techies, but they also complicate the operation of mobile devices, especially if they are older models.
It was revealed recently WhatsApp will no longer be compatible with some phone models starting in June. It creates wonder among the users of these devices.
This move by WhatsApp, a meta-company, is in response to updates to the Android and iOS platforms. A total of 30 phone models will be affected, including brands such as Apple (iPhone), Samsung, LG, Huawei, Sony, Lenovo and ZTE.
Improvements that WhatsApp intends to implement with this update include more security, Better performance and compatibility with newer hardware. These changes mean that older devices may not support the app properly.
If you find WhatsApp unavailable on your phone in the next month, you have an alternative to avoid being out of touch. If an update is available, you can try to update the operating system of the device. Let this app continue to be used for a long time.
